you are so brave. I can’t imagine a stronger person. I really can’t begin to describe how much I admire you – the fact you are staying strong after all you’ve been through and are still going through. ever since someone very close to me got cancer I have been cutting, so i am so in awe of you. and I am so unbelievably euphoric that more people are paying attention to cancer in children thanks to your blog, and I know that your beautiful son had something to do with the fact it’s been publicized so much, and he is watching you and your family from Heaven. my heart is with you.

Maya, I have never felt compelled to vote for anyone or anything before but your story has truly touched my soul. I am in awe of your strength and determination and strive each day to be more like you. I don’t think that a day has gone by that I haven’t thought of you and your Ronan since I began reading this blog. I pray for you both and know that one day you will be together again.
