Counting Our Blessings… Twice!

Ro’s ANC count came back at 120 today. Yay! Great news for us! Dr. Wood said we should be able to go home on Friday.

I slept at home last night, and Woody stayed at the hospital. He has officially banned me from the hospital for a couple of days since I haven’t been feeling well. Mimi Kay is with Ronan now, and I’m waiting to see my doctor — just wanting to confirm I don’t have anything like strep throat. We cannot compromise Ronan in any way.

I know I’m just run down. I’m going to rest at home today and tonight.

I saw Dr. Mengesha. He is such a kind man. He knew all about Ronan and kept telling me how resilient kids are. He asked if I wanted anything to help me sleep. I said no. Not going down that road. Woody would flip anyway.

He confirmed what I already suspected — just a little cold and exhaustion.

    Good for you Maya. Your blessings are many for sure. Way to go Ronan raising those numbers! You are obviously a great mom so just remember to pump up your vitamins etc so you can be physically strong. God bless you and your beautiful family and friends!

    I’m signed up and ready to join the prayer team of support. I work in ministry and have seen miracle after miracle of healings that no human could explain. I am joining the prayer team for superstar Ronan to be another testimony.Ironically my mom is going for her MRI tommorrow after they found a tumor in her breast and it was malignant. We’re just contending for her healing like Ronans..God is bigger. My two year old will be praying with me tonight for you and your family.
    My fav. healing verse. Jesus said “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can tell that mountain to move into the sea and it will be done!”

    Yeah for Ronan and his #’s. I am so happy for you and your optimism. You are so encouraging for so many moms. Get what rest you can and enjoy your boys! Bless your whole family!

    Its so good to hear Ronan’s #’s are up!! Im glad you have such great friends to help you get through this… its hard being away from any of your kids im sure but like you said it wont be forever!! Keeping Ronan, you and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. ♥

    That’s great news about ronan’s counts! it just goes to show you he’s a true fighter and won’t ever give up!!
    please take care of yourself!! and always remember this is temporary, you WILL get thru this, and so many, many people are sending you positive thoughts and prayers constantly.
    if you ever need anything from Los Angeles, please don’t hesitate to ask! (maybe some mickie mouse ears?? 🙂

    Maya and family,
    I do not know you personally but another mom of the MOM’s club sent us your blog.
    I have a 6 year old daughter and also a 3 1/2 year old boy named Aidan and we pray every night before they go to bed. Rockstar Ronan will now be in our prayers.
    Remember that the good thoughts attract good things. Many people praying for Ronan will have POWER and will bring him healthy back home. Just hang in there, your family is in God’s hands.
