It is completely unacceptable that any child should ever have to wish to just grow up. I am so angry at the facts of pediatric cancer! Everytime I hear or read how no progress has been made in decades and that of the billions of $$ that is raised every year for cancer, nearly none goes to kids, I just feel sick. Watching that video, hearing the voices of those kids that have probably lost their fight, hearing them say “I just want to grow up” “I want to be a mom” “I want to be a good dad”, and knowing they most likely will never get a chance, just kills me inside. The tears rolling down my face are unending!
