  1. Hi Maya~I have had the pleasure and honor to meet both you and Ronan at PCH when I brought Sophie, my Golden Retriever, to visit the kids. I’ve written to you before and I will say it again–of all the kids I have had the opportunity to meet in the past year at the hospital, nobody has impacted my heart and soul like Ronan. I’ll never forget the first time we met–you weren’t there at that moment in the ICU room but I was able to visit with Ronan’s Mimi. We then saw both you and Ronan in the clinic and in the hospital over the next couple of months. I have followed your blog and think of Ronan constantly. I was recently at the American Idol concert and heard the song “I love you this big” which is the new hit being sung by the winner, Scotty. I hadn’t heard the song before the concert and when I heard the lyrics about loving to the moon and back, my thoughts immediately traveled to Ronan. He truly is everywhere!
I have a request for you: I am a new yoga teacher at Sumits Yoga studio in Scottsdale. I would love nothing more than some suggestions for a playlist for class. I listen to all the music you play on the blog and have added some of the songs to my own playlist but choosing music is not one of my strengths and that is obviously a gift you have. I know you have a lot on your plate but I thought if you were in need of a little something to keep kill some time once you are back in town and the boys are in school, I would love your input! Forgive me if I am overstepping here…:)

    1. I remember you:) Thank you for reaching out to me. I would love to help you with your playlist. Email me @ mayawoody@gmail.com

I would love something to busy my mind during my sleepless nights.
      xoxo

  2. Maya, you dont know me but I feel as though I know you and your family by reading through your blog from beginning to present. I wanted  to tell you a story about when I went to the beach today. I was sitting on the beach and saw a little boy, around 4 years old, just standing there watching these four Seagulls that were playing on the beach. He was so content just watching those birds with a giant smile on his face. Just then I heard the little boys mom yell out, “Ronan it’s time for lunch” this took me by such a surprise to hear that the little boy that I was watching play with the birds was named Ronan. I immediately thought of how those four birds that the little boy was watching over so contently was you, woody, Liam and Quinn. I don’t have a doubt in my mind that it was a sign from your precious Ronan baby, he is looking over you guys always. I am only 18 but Ronan has forever changed my life, as I dont take any day I spend with those I love for granted anymore. Thank you Ronan and thank you Maya for sharing the story of your little boy with the world. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
