  1. Great song!

    Family Chain

    We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved your dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
    You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.

    You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.

    Our family chain is broken
    And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
    The chain will link again.

I liked how this read and thought of you. God bless you Maya! Pray for you all the time! xoxo

  2. My friend sent me a Rockstar Ronan purple bracelet a few weeks ago. I loved it. I was going to wear it yesterday and was actually scared to. Not because I’m not completely enamored by Ronan, but because I cry every time I read your blog. I was scared to be reminded of your pain all day. I was driving home from the store, and there it was, a purple balloon someone had obviously lost (it had a weight at the bottom) sitting right in the middle of a busy street. No matter how many cars zipped past it, no one ran into it and it just bobbed around in an almost playful manner. It was such a surreal moment. It reminded me of you and Ronan and I felt like it was something letting me know that no matter if I wear the bracelet or not, I can’t ignore or run away from the reality of the pain that neuroblastoma causes families and your loss of Ronan.

Today…I am wearing his bracelet. Rock on Ronan.

A little message that made me think of you.

    1. I love the saying you posted for Maya. It feels comforting. I hope Maya gets the same feeling she soooo deserves even just a tiny amount of comfort.
