You’ll be great! I’m SO glad! I hate the reason you’re on, but I’m glad that Ronan has such a strong Mama to help change the world! And I KNOW just how much pressure changing the world is on you, but that’s ok! You have a whole shit ton of support & YOU CAN (and WILL) DO IT!!!!!! Thank you Katie Couric for spreading Mayas voice!

How sad is it that I started worrying when you hadn’t posted in a while? Glad that it is just because your time with Katie was moved up. Setting the DVR up right now since I am at work when it airs, but I am sure that you will be great and even more people will get to know your Ro and be inspired to help fight childhood cancer!

So excited to watch it! I had a dream a few days ago that Ronan and I were at the show with you, we were sitting behind your chair during the tapping. He looked so excited to be there watching you! I am so excited for you. I feel like a stalker, but you truley inspire me. I tell everyone I know about your story. The world should know about your strength and crusade. I can’t wait to see you on Katie and hope it brings that much more awareness to childhood cancer. I nominated you for an amazing person thing I saw on Katie courics website, as I’m sure anybody would that knows your story. Maya, I am so very sorry that I will be at work and miss the ROSHOW, but I am setting sails and best wishes for you and Ro. We too have been through the same cancer with granddaughter, and 4 months after I married my wife she was diagnosed with stage 4c colorectal cancer. Both underwent surgery on the same day, same time. I ran from TEXAS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL to be with Isabella (1) year old & my wife Georganna at MD ANDERSON for 6 straight hours. It was tough. But they both beat the odds and 8 years later are here with us. We have been so inspired by Ro and your fight, that I just can’t put it into words. What I will say is you are an amazing human being, and you are doing the right thing for Ronan and all of those precious babies that either have or will become affected with this fucking cancer. You truly are an angel on a mission. I am 57 years young, and I can honestly say that in my lifetime, I have never heard or known of anyone with the determination and strength that you have. Maya, you and Ro have touched so many of us in more ways than you will ever realize. Thank you & keep the good fight on. Things truly are aligned for you and you are obviously making the most of that. You have great people with great big hearts in your corner for the right reasons. The babies & young ones affected by cancer are in a better place because of you and your drive to find a cure. And because of the beautiful Ro with the most beautiful eyes, and a soul so well beyond his years first and fore most and YOU MAYA, are the truth and the road to success in this fight. May the light and the fight be with you forever. God Bless you. And most of all God Bless RO AND HIS FRIENDS AT HIS SIDE.

I had to know more about who the song was about because i have a three year old son. when I first heard the song all I could think about was what if that happened to him. I’ve been reading all your blogs, and I’ve read some to my husband and we both cried together. U are so amazing and so brave. You are truly Ronan’s angel. He is so lucky to have u as a mother. Hi Maya, my name is Giovanna. I live in Madrid, Spain. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your lost. It makes me so sad to watch children like beautiful Ronan suffer with cancer. I have 4 children and my biggest fear is to lost them. One may think that if they are healthy at birth nothing wrong would happen to them, but that’s not true. That’s why we have to give them all our love and cherish them. Your story is a love story. I’m babbling now, sorry. I’ll write in another moment. Take care of you, poppy, your husband and the boys.
