I might be Twitter OBSESSED.

So of course, this Ronan slouchy sweatshirt makes perfect sense. I can’t wait to rock it, after I pop this Poppy out!

  5. This is a fascinating article that reminded me of you Maya…you may not ever find happiness as you knew if with Ronan, but you have definitely found meaning…

  6. Hi Maya,

I actually found your blog the night I watched the “Stand Up to Cancer” event on TV. I immediately downloaded Taylor Swift’s song, “Ronan” from iTunes and that’s when I discovered your story; the story of Ronan. I admire your strength and your courage and you have inspired me to be more aware and to make the absolute most of every second. I want you to know that you aren’t alone. There are a lot of us “Ro-lovers” you’ve touched helping you fight this wicked battle against Childhood Cancer. I will sign your petition, buy the Ronan gears and tell his story with hope. Thanks for letting us in on your incredible journey and keep your head up. You have nothing to be ashamed of; we’ve got your back out here. I hope to meet you one day and just hug you, or go on one of your danger hikes with you. I can’t help knowing that we would be awesome friends- ( I say the “F” word all the time, sister!) Anyways – you may never read this or this may never get to you, but thank you for being honest and real and giving women like me focus and passion in life. You’re making a difference in this big world. Keep the goodness flowing.

    With love and hope,

  8. Hi Maya,
I’m only twelve years old and haven’t experienced much life yet. The other day my mom told me my Grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I was really scared and didn’t know what to do so I just cried. I immediately thought of you and your family. How much pain it would be to bring someone into this world that is so beautiful and amazing and watch him disappear from you its like being given something so amazing but have it be taken away. I love my grandmother so much and i am so scared for her. I cant imagine how horrible it was for you. I honestly don’t see how you can be such a powerful lady with all that pain. You are doing an amazing thing getting cancer known. People need to open there eyes and see that life isn’t a playground anymore. In fact it never was. Right now I have no idea how you feel AT ALL!!!! But all I would like to say is Thank You so Much for helping me through this rough time. Please know that we are all so amazed at what you have done.

Thank you again for this blog
    sincerely,
    Aly
