Tomorrow, we dance.

Ronan. Tonight, I am left speechless with all the things you are doing. Let’s just say it was a day full of shock, tears, screaming, hugging, and silence to process all that has been happening. There are no words to describe all the beauty that you are leaving behind.

Tomorrow, would have been your little buddy, Ezra’s fourth birthday had Neuroblastoma not killed him. Tomorrow, his mama should be throwing a party, not wiping away her tears over her son that she misses so much. We’ve been texting back and forth a bit today. I asked her what she will do tomorrow. She said, “Tomorrow, I will dance.” Erza loved to dance, just like you. You two sound so similar.

I’m going to ask a favor of all you little lovely readers tonight. Tomorrow, please stop and take the time to be thankful for all that you have, and dance while doing so. For Ezra.

This is all I can write tonight as it was a super long day in the best way possible. Probably the best day I have had in such a long time. Thank you, Ronan for your soul which is changing this world. I’ll dance for you tomorrow, to one of your favorites… Kelis….”My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.” Or Kanye, ” Can’t tell me nothing.” And of course a little Taylor Swift, too.

I love you. I miss you. I hope you are safe. Sweet dreams, baby doll.

xoxo

“Hello, Poppy!” (only to be said in a British accent) Thank you, Ro, for bringing us all this gift. I miss you so much. You are going to make the best big brother. xoxo

  7. What an adorable pic! Does this mean you are having a girl? How far along are you? I was surprised when I saw that you are already sporting a baby bump. But then had to laugh at myself for being surprised and remind myself that although I am a long time follower of your blog, I do not actually know you! The next time you have really awesome news, maybe you should call all 2 million of us and let us know! Hahaha!

  8. All day we will be singing and dancing to California Gurls by Katie and Snoop….my 4 year olds favorite song at the moment, and his favorte line from this song is “all that ass hanging out.”

Happy Birthday little Ezra! May you have a wonderful birthday with that little Ronan and all the others gone too soon.

  9. Hi, i cane here after listening to Raylor aswift’s song Roman. I am still listening to it on repeat. I am so inspired by your story by being able to start such a big thing after a horrible loss. In my little town, we all know each other. At our local highschool, the history teacher’s grandaughter/ex-football coach’s daughter Lily was diagnosed with Neuroblasma a few months ago. Our whole community was sad but we were determined to help. The high school has so many fundraisers and so do the grade schools. At a volleyball game alone, we raised over $1400. At one of the grade schools, I do not know the exact amount but I know the 8th grade class raised $131 or more just from 24 kids. The family now has a new addition, Mya, who is only 10 weeks old. Everybody is praying and we just had a marathon for Lily. She has completed so many rounds of chemo but sadly doesn’t show much improvment. We all pray she will be ok. I just felt so sad after all of this and needed to show this story and what better place then here? Again, I am so sorry for your loss but I know everybody knows he is in a much better place.
    Xoxoxoxoxoxo, yisha.

    1. Hi Yisha, I am very sorry to here about Lily and we will all be sending positive thoughts and prayers her way. I also just wanted to mention really quick as I am sure you will keep following Maya… I know you mean well, but please don’t talk about Ronan being in a better place. For a greiving mom, the best place for her child to be is with her and no where else and it’s actually hurtful when someone says that. Like I said I know you mean well, but just keep that in mind, 🙂
