I recently shared your story with my son. He had heard bits and pieces of it at school but I went through and showed him pictures and read excerpts of your blog aloud to him. I did this because he is skating (ice) in a Relay for Life benefit this weekend at Oceanside Ice Arena. My son’s hockey teammates and the DYHA community will be skating alternately for 12 consecutive hours for the American Cancer Society. I wanted him to know that cancer effects so many people and does not discriminate. As I read him parts of your blog, I saw tears well up in his eyes and he said, “Mom, I am skating for Ronan.” He asked me to let you know…even though we do not personally know you. Ronan has left a lasting impression on the hearts of many.

Love you Maya – been following your blog since January.. Your writing style makes me feel like I’m right there with you. Praying you find tidbits of happiness everyday. I can’t even imagine how tough it is.
PS – Any chance you can change the font back to what it was – very very hard for old eyes to read.

Still thinking of you daily, Maya. You and Ronan are my rock…you keep me strong each day and realize what I have is beautiful, and a blessing.
School starts next week for most of us here in Phx, and if you need a support group while the twins are at school, I know plenty of moms who would be there for you. We all love you, Maya!
