What day is it????

The days are so blurry I can’t even keep track anymore. So much has happened today, but I am only going to talk about the love I saw between 3 little boys. The twins came to visit!! We finally decided that it was ok because Ronan is looking much better. I missed the reunion because Wood and I were in talking with the doctor. From what Mimi Kay says, Ronan lit up like she’s never seen before. The 3 boys were so happy to be together you would have thought they were at Disneyland, not in a hospital.

It broke my heart when they had to leave. As they were saying goodbye, Ronan got so sad. I looked down and saw him trying to be so brave and tough, but his little lip started to quiver as he fought back the tears. Poor baby.

I could go on and on but my eyes are blurry and I am exhausted. Today was good for my Ronan’s spirit and soul. I physically felt the love that surrounds us and I know, no matter what, we are going to make it through this. xoxo

Love to all of our beautiful angels out there. Nighty night.

  1. I want to be the first to comment on such a beautiful picture of your family. Ever since I have heard the news 3 1/2 hours ago I cannot stop thinking of you all or sleep. She is a warrior too and will be such a great role model for you all. May you take it one day at a time and get strength where you can. We love you all and will do anything for you.

Loved seeing the family photo! So glad Liam and Quinn finally got to see him. That is so healing for all of you. I have been praying so much for Ronan and you two. Today my focus will be for Liam, Quinn, Aunt Kay and Charlie. They are your support staff. What a blessing family is! We had so much fun with them at my parents on Sunday. They giggled at their other boy cousins dressing up like girls 🙂 We will do more of that with them in the weeks ahead. They need to laugh and play like little boys do. We love you. XO Jennifer

  11. Hello Maya! Your beautiful son Ronan’s story came to us through emails that were forwarded by Carolyn Strandberg. We walked in your shoes with our son Wil in 1997. He was age four and turned five during the journey. And what a journey it is!

Thankfully, Wil is a pediatric cancer survivor! He too was stage IV neuroblastoma and went through treatment at PCH as well as Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Surgeries, chemo, radiation, BMT…the whole kit and kaboodle.

Wil looked at your website and said, “I need to meet them. We need to go see Ronan.”

We would love to be part of your support team in anyway we can. Wil is a senior in high school and would love to stand by, befriend, cheer on Ronan and your other boys in every way. You can check out his website, wilschommer.com which shares his story. We did it mainly for recruiting purposes and potential guest speaking engagements.

Let us know what we can do for you. My cell number is 480 980 4141 and email is paulschommer@me.com. Lisa, my wife, cell is 480 980 4132 and email is paullisa2@cox.net

    Sincerely,
    Paul

I noticed in my earlier email i said, “she is a warrior and great role model.” We have another friend who is going through this too and I stated that Ronan is a warrior and will win just like our friend Nitalia. May God watch over you all. I very much enjoyed our visit last night. Even if the other little boy in the room watched Barney etc. Doc’s if you are reading this PLEASE get our friend Ronan a private room.

P.S. I see where Ronan gets his warrior status… Who knew with those beautiful angelic faces. Keep up your strength. Much Love, The Willits Family
